The owner of Sweeney's Saloon in St. Paul asked Blinc to redesign the tavern's web site. The goal of the redesign was to update the look and slightly rework the attitude - to give the site it a more irreverant, light-hearted feel. Blinc was familiar with Sweeney's requirements and approach, having designed the original combined Chang O'Hara's and Sweeney's Saloon sites. Our charge in this project was to not only liven up the site's image, but also rearrange the content to make it easier to keep currrent. The Sweeney's folks wanted the new site to show some of the edgier humor we used in redesigning their menus. Sweeney's also asked us to rework the layout and information design in order to make it easier to keep the site current without constantly tweaking the content.
